Police say a Geneva man failed to report where he was living, leading to four felony charges.
Joseph F. Arnold, 44, was arrested around 10:41 a.m. Feb. 26 by the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department.
Officers charged Arnold with two violations of the New York State Sex Offender Registry: failure to register his address within 10 days and failure to verify his address within 90 days. Authorities elevated both charges to Class D felonies due to a previous conviction.
Investigators also charged Arnold with perjury in the second degree and offering a false instrument for filing in the first degree, both felonies. Police said investigators determined he did not live at the address he had filed with the state’s sex offender registry.
Police processed Arnold and transported him to the Seneca County Correctional Facility, where he is being held pending arraignment.
