Police arrested a Bath man after investigating a report of stolen alcoholic beverages from Walgreens.
Stanley E. McKee, 70, of Bath, was taken into custody around 12:10 p.m. Feb. 3 following the investigation, according to the Village of Bath Police Department.
Officers were dispatched to Walgreens for a report of stolen alcohol. Police said a man had taken multiple cans of alcoholic beverages from the store.
Investigators determined McKee damaged a case of beer, rendering it unable to be sold, and stole multiple cans. Police said he had previously been trespassed from the location due to prior thefts of beer.
McKee was charged with burglary in the third degree, a Class D felony, petit larceny, a Class A misdemeanor, and criminal mischief in the fourth degree, a Class A misdemeanor.
He was transported to the Steuben County Jail for CAP court, where he was held.
