LP plans $17M Bath expansion

A $17 million expansion will soon reshape LP Building Solutions’ Bath plant, according to the Corning Leader. The company plans to add 46,000 square feet of indoor storage and expand a production line by 20,000 square feet.

The upgrades will boost output of LP SmartSide ExpertFinish Trim & Siding and add five jobs, with average pay near $59,000 including benefits. Construction starts in April and should wrap within a year.

The facility, which opened in 2023 and now employs about 70 workers, already surpassed its original 61-job commitment. Local development officials called the project a major investment in Steuben County’s manufacturing base.
