Crash mangles UPS truck in Farmington

Twisted metal and flashing lights shut down a busy Farmington intersection Tuesday night, according to RochesterFirst. A UPS delivery truck and a dark-colored sedan collided at State Route 332 and Farmington Town Line Road.

Both vehicles suffered heavy damage. Firefighters from Farmington and Canandaigua responded, along with deputies from the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office and New York State Police.

Crews cleared the wreckage later that evening, and traffic returned to normal. Officials haven’t released information about injuries. Investigators are still working to determine what caused the crash.
