A routine left turn ended with a state trooper and another driver on stretchers Tuesday afternoon, according to News10NBC.
State Police say a van traveling east on Route 104 tried to turn onto Knickerbocker Road around 12:30 p.m. but failed to yield and struck a patrol car in the Town of Ontario. Crews took the trooper to Strong Memorial Hospital and the van’s driver to Rochester General Hospital.
Both were taken away on stretchers, but were alert. Police have not released their conditions and say the investigation remains ongoing.
