Moms in Canandaigua will have a new place to connect next month as UR Medicine Thompson Health hosts “The Milk Bar” on Wednesday, March 4.
The group meets from 10 a.m. to noon in the Birthing Center classroom on the second floor of Thompson Hospital, 350 Parrish St.
Organizers describe The Milk Bar as “a safe and nurturing space designed for moms to come together, share experiences, and support one another on their motherhood journey.” Thompson’s lactation consultant, Courtney Stuhlman, hosts the group.
All moms can attend, whether they’re breastfeeding or not. Babies are welcome, along with children up to age 2.
