A late-night stop at a convenience store ended with deputies taking a woman into custody on a bench warrant.
Rachel Jane Phytila, 28, was arrested around 10:01 p.m. at a 7-Eleven in the Town of West Bloomfield.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office said the warrant was issued by Victor Town Court. It stemmed from a failure to appear on earlier charges of petit larceny and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Deputies located Phytila at the store on State Route 5 and 20 and took her into custody without incident. Authorities held her for centralized arraignment processing.
Phytila will appear in Victor Town Court at a later date to answer to the charges. Deputy Statt investigated the case.
