Sheriff’s investigators arrested a woman following a retail theft investigation tied to a Victor beauty store.
Ontario County Sheriff’s investigators arrested Melissa M. Miller, 34, on January 30 after probing a reported theft at the Ulta Beauty store in the Town of Victor.
Investigators said a lone female stole $1,905 worth of merchandise from the store on December 24. The investigation later identified Miller as the suspect, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies charged Miller with grand larceny in the fourth degree.
Authorities issued Miller an appearance ticket. She will appear in Victor Town Court on a later date to answer the charge. The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division handled the case.
