Police arrested a man after investigating a report of a stolen vehicle in the Village of Palmyra.
Officers arrested Bradley R. Greule, 28, of Washington Street, following an investigation by the Palmyra Police Department. Police say Greule unlawfully took his mother’s vehicle without permission.
Police allege Greule does not have a valid New York State driver’s license. After taking the vehicle, police say it was involved in a motor vehicle accident in the Rochester area.
Investigators say Greule fled the scene after the crash. Officers later arrested him in the Village of Palmyra.
Police charged Greule with grand larceny in the third degree, a class D felony.
Greule was transported to the Wayne County Jail for Centralized Arraignment Part. He is scheduled to return to Palmyra Village Court at a later date to answer the charge.
