State police arrested a Macedon woman after a disturbance in the village of Lyons that investigators say involved a motor vehicle confrontation and a battery-powered saw.
Troopers charged Rebecca E. Plyter, 40, following an investigation into an incident reported Dec. 22 on Water Street in Lyons, Wayne County.
State Police from Lyons responded to a report of a disturbance and investigated what they described as a confrontation tied to a motor vehicle incident.
Police say Plyter approached another individual while operating a battery-powered saw, causing the victim to fear serious physical injury.
Following the investigation, state police arrested Plyter and charged her with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony.
She also faces misdemeanor menacing, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and unsafe backing of a vehicle.
Troopers processed Plyter at Lyons HQ and transported her to the Wayne County Jail for CAP arraignment.
