A woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after rear-ending another car in the Town of Phelps on December 11.
Ontario County deputies say 62-year-old Trina White was heading east on Route 96 when she crashed into a vehicle stopped for a turn at the intersection of County Road 6.
The other driver, 20-year-old Rosemarie Bellone, had been waiting to turn left when deputies say White followed too closely and hit her from behind.
Deputies determined White was intoxicated at the time of the crash. She was arrested for DWI and taken to Ontario County for processing.
Bellone was taken to Geneva General Hospital with minor injuries. The investigation was handled by Deputy Bodine with help from the New York State Police and Deputy Pennell.
