During the traffic stop, police said they found marijuana in the vehicle. Further investigation determined Cuozzo was intoxicated. A test showed her blood alcohol content was 0.32%.

She was arrested and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated, both misdemeanors. She also faces two traffic violations: failure to keep right and having marijuana in a motor vehicle on a highway.

Cuozzo was processed at the Geneva Police Department and issued an appearance ticket for Geneva City Court.
