St. Michael School brings back Thanksgiving Turkey Trot

The streets of Penn Yan will be filled with sneakers, smiles, and plenty of post-race snacks this Thanksgiving as St. Michael School gears up for its 14th Annual Turkey Trot.

The popular holiday tradition returns on Thursday, November 27, with a USATF-certified 5K race and a Kids Fun Run that promises fun for the whole family. Race day kicks off early, with registration at 7 a.m., the 5K starting at 8:30 a.m., and the kids’ run following at 9:30.

Organizers say participants can expect a professionally timed race, high-energy music, and a spread of food waiting at the finish line. The first 100 people to register will get a free event T-shirt.

Awards will be handed out to the top male and female finishers overall, along with winners in multiple age groups.

Falcon Race Timing will handle the official timing for the event, adding a competitive edge to the festive atmosphere.

For those looking to sign up, registration is available through RunSignUp or by calling the St. Michael School office at 315-536-6112.
