A traffic stop in Seneca Falls led to felony drunk driving charges for a Phelps man over the weekend.
Police arrested 44-year-old Jermaine M. Phillip on November 15, charging him with driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood alcohol content of .08% or higher.
Because of a prior DWI conviction, both charges were elevated to felonies. Phillip was processed at the scene and released with an appearance ticket. He’s expected to answer the charges in court at a later date.
