Glenora Wine Cellars, the first winery on Seneca Lake, has been sold for the first time since opening in 1978.
The Dundee-based winery was acquired by FLX Family Winery, LLC, a sister company to Lilly Brothers Brewing and Lilly Broadcasting, which owns WENY-TV. Glenora has grown significantly over the decades, adding a 30-room inn and restaurant in 2000.
The sale ends years of the property being on the market, marking a major shift for one of the region’s most iconic wine producers.
