Watercolor still life workshops set for Seneca Falls

A local artist is offering two hands-on watercolor workshops in Seneca Falls this November — and the focus is all about texture, balance, and creativity.

Roberta Nelson will lead the still life sessions at the Artworks Gallery on November 6 and 13 from 1 to 3 p.m. Both classes use the wet-on-wet watercolor method, which creates rich, layered textures and atmospheric effects.

“These workshops are about having fun while building balanced compositions and exploring the principles of design,” Nelson said. The second session builds on the first, so participants are encouraged to attend both.

The cost is $20 per session. Attendees need to bring their own watercolor supplies. To register, email [email protected] by November 1.

The Artworks Gallery is located at 109 Fall Street and is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
