Police: Ithaca man threatened others with a gun

Police arrested a man after officers responded to a report of someone threatening another person with a gun at Nate’s Floral Estates late Wednesday night.

The suspect, identified as 64-year-old Bruce Rogers of Ithaca, was taken into custody without incident. Officers say he had menaced the victim with what appeared to be a firearm. They recovered the weapon at the scene.

Rogers is facing two charges: criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, a class D felony, and second-degree menacing.

He was arraigned in Ithaca City Court by Judge Wallace and remanded to the Tompkins County Jail without bail.
