Hornell’s holiday season is getting a country boost this year as Whey Jennings, grandson of legend Waylon Jennings, headlines a Dec. 7 concert, according to the Hornell Evening Tribune.
The show starts at 2 p.m. in the Hornell High School auditorium and aims to become a new tradition alongside the city’s holiday parade and tree lighting. Tickets are $20 and include a discount pass for local shops.
Jennings will perform holiday classics and originals, joined by the Hornell High School Choir for a festive hometown twist.
