Moyers Corners firefighters faced a first on Sunday morning — putting out an electric car fire at an IHOP in Clay, according to WSYR-TV.
Crews responded just after 8 a.m. and spent two hours on scene, staying longer than usual to cool the EV’s battery, which can reignite even after flames are out.
The fire remains under investigation by Onondaga County officials.
