From model trains to trick-or-treating, Eastview Mall is turning up the fall fun with a busy lineup of free community events happening throughout October and early November.

Walk, roll, and cheer at WalkAbout
The Al Sigl Community of Agencies is hosting its annual WalkAbout on Sunday, October 19. The free event kicks off with registration at 8:30 a.m., a walk at 9 a.m., and a costume contest at 10 a.m. It’s a morning of accessible, family fun with a costume parade, treats, and cheering for all abilities.
Get spooky at Eastview’s Trick-or-Treat
On Saturday, October 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., kids can dress up and collect goodies at Eastview’s Super Spooky Trick-or-Treat event. The fun starts at the Food Court with goodie bags, cider and donuts, and meet-and-greets with favorite Halloween characters.

The Friends of the Victor Farmington Library Book Sale runs October 30 through November 2 at Cross Court (outside Shoe Dept). Hours vary by day:
- Thursday, Oct. 30: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- Friday, Oct. 31: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Saturday, Nov. 1: 1 p.m. – 7 p.m.
- Sunday, Nov. 2: 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Boats, jobs, and more this October
The Autumn Boat Show returns for two weekends — October 10–12 and October 17–19 — in the JCPenney parking lot. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
Looking for a new job? The Eastview Hiring Event is set for Sunday, October 12 (12–5 p.m.) and Monday, October 13 (12–7 p.m.). Retailers will be hiring for full-time, part-time, and seasonal roles. Shoppers can stop by to apply or visit eastviewmall.com to see who’s hiring.
Model train show delights fans of all ages
The Model Train Show took place October 4 and 5 in Cross Court. Hosted by the Genesee & Ontario N-Gineers, the event featured interactive displays and club members ready to share everything about the model railroad hobby.
