A new class of legends will take the spotlight this weekend as Mynderse Academy hosts its 2025 Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Sunday, October 12, at the Northeast College of Health Sciences in Seneca Falls.
The event kicks off at 4:00 p.m. with a cocktail hour and cash bar, followed by a buffet dinner and the official induction ceremony inside Delevan Auditorium. Tickets are $40 and are available at the Seneca Falls Middle School Office and Seneca Falls Country Club.
Class of 2025 inductees
This year’s class features a wide range of contributions — from standout athletes across decades to coaches and lifelong supporters of Mynderse sports:
- Elizabeth Sinicropi (Class of 1973), recognized as a “Prelude to Title IX Athlete”
- Geno Giovannini and Louis “Chipper” Vergamini (Class of 1941), honored as Lifetime Contributors
- Matthew Nozzolio (Class of 1972), Athlete
- Diane France Koczersut (Class of 1985), Athlete
- Joseph Porcelli (Class of 1976), Athlete
- Abby Dygert (Class of 2012), Athlete
- Gene Giovannini (Class of 1975), Athlete

The Mynderse Academy Athletic Hall of Fame Committee encourages the community to come out and celebrate these individuals and teams whose dedication, talent, and leadership helped shape the school’s athletic tradition.
