A Palmyra man is facing multiple charges after a domestic dispute escalated into physical violence while a child was present.
46-year-old Timothy L. Johnson was arrested on October 1 by New York State Police following an investigation into a reported incident the previous evening on State Route 21 in the Town of Palmyra.
Troopers responded around 5:07 p.m. on September 30. Investigators say Johnson was involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical. The victim was assaulted during the dispute, and a child witnessed the incident but was not injured.
Johnson was charged with:
- Endangering the Welfare of a Child
- Criminal Obstruction of Breathing or Blood Circulation
- Criminal Mischief
- Harassment in the 2nd degree
He was processed at SP Lyons and taken to Wayne County Jail to await centralized arraignment.
