A man died Wednesday afternoon after crashing a car on Atlantic Avenue in Penfield, according to WHAM.
The single-car crash happened near Five Mile Line Road. The vehicle caught fire, and first responders arrived to find no other passengers involved. The driver’s identity has not been released, and investigators are still working to determine the cause.
The road was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
