Deputies arrested a woman Tuesday afternoon after she allegedly damaged a vehicle during a family dispute in Ontario County.
Kayla Regina Carney, 31, of Springwater, is facing a felony charge of third-degree criminal mischief after investigators say she intentionally kicked and shattered the front windshield of a 2004 Toyota Tundra.
The incident happened around 4:54 p.m. near the intersection of State Route 5 & 20 and County Road 47 in the Town of Hopewell.
Carney was arrested without incident, arraigned at the county’s CAP Court, and released on her own recognizance. She’s scheduled to appear in Hopewell Town Court at a later date.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by a state trooper and additional deputies during the investigation.
