Reliant Credit Union announces winners of fraud awareness art contest

Three local artists are being recognized for their creativity and public awareness efforts after winning Reliant Credit Union’s Fraud Fighters Art & Meme Contest.

The contest invited community members of all ages to submit original posters, digital art, or memes focused on stopping scams and protecting personal information.

Winners were named in three age categories:

  • Youth (Under 13): Chloe P.
  • Teen (13–17): Johannes O.
  • Adult (18+): Mckayla S.

Their artwork will be featured in Reliant’s monthly newsletter, on social media, and in a virtual gallery on the credit union’s website.

“As scammers continue to advance, we believe creative expression is a powerful tool to educate and engage our community,” said Pamela Heald, President & CEO of Reliant. “Congratulations to our talented winners—Chloe, Johannes, and Mckayla—for using their art to help our members think more critically about what they’re sharing and whom they trust.”

Building fraud awareness through art

The contest was part of Reliant’s broader mission to educate members and the public about fraud prevention. The credit union encourages families to talk openly about scam tactics and red flags—especially as online threats continue to evolve.
