HS SPORTS REPORT: Pal-Mac football scores 60 in season opener; Bloomfield, Williamson girls soccer moves to 3-0

Friday night brought a jam-packed slate of Wayne-Finger Lakes high school fall sports action.

Several more football teams kicked off their seasons, though many of the matchups were one-sided. In Wayne County, Palmyra-Macedon erupted for 60 points in a rout of Clyde-Savannah, while Lyons/Sodus rolled past Wayne, and Geneva cruised to a 50-point win. On the soccer field, the Williamson and Bloomfield girls extended their strong starts, each improving to 3-0. In volleyball, Lyons suffered its first setback of the season, falling to Hornell in four sets.
