HS SPORTS REPORT: Penn Yan/Dundee football crushes Waterloo; Mynderse boys soccer stays unbeaten at 4-0

Thursday night’s Wayne-Finger Lakes fall sports slate was packed with action, highlighted by the start of football season for a few teams.

Penn Yan/Dundee football demolished Waterloo with a 66-point explosion. On the soccer field, the Mynderse boys improved to 4-0, led by a two-goal effort from Long Cao. In volleyball, Canandaigua and Lyons each picked up straight-set wins, and Gananda earned its first victory of the season despite losing the first set.
