President Donald Trump says he’ll award Rudy Giuliani the Presidential Medal of Freedom, just days after Giuliani was injured in a New Hampshire car crash, according to the Associated Press.
Trump praised Giuliani as “the greatest Mayor in the history of New York City,” despite Giuliani facing legal trouble over efforts to overturn the 2020 election and a $148 million defamation judgment.
Giuliani is recovering from fractured vertebrae and other injuries after being rear-ended while riding as a passenger.
