Waterloo Police arrested a 14-year-old around 11:00 AM on August 18. The arrest stemmed from a domestic incident complaint.
The juvenile faces charges of third-degree criminal mischief and third-degree attempted assault. Police withheld the teen’s name due to their age.
Police allege that the juvenile destroyed property during the incident. The teen also allegedly attempted to assault a family member.
The alleged assault included pulling hair, punching, and attempting to hit the person with a blunt object.
The juvenile received an appearance ticket to appear in Youth Part Court at a later date.
