Birders and nature fans are invited to join a free bird walk hosted by the Seneca Meadows Education Center and the Montezuma Audubon Center on Saturday, August 23.
The walk begins at 8 a.m., with participants meeting at the Education Center (1977 NYS Route 414, Waterloo) by 7:45. From there, the group will head to the Seneca Meadows Wetland Preserve on Black Brook Road for a morning of birdwatching and conservation learning.
The event is open to individuals, families, and groups of all ages, but registration is required due to limited space. Even though there’s no cost, signing up helps organizers plan accordingly.
