A motorcyclist was airlifted to the hospital following a serious crash in Cayuga County on Wednesday night.
Emergency crews responded to the intersection of Indian Field Road and Poplar Ridge Road in the town of Venice after a collision between a car and a motorcycle, according to Cayuga/Seneca Fire Wire.
Multiple agencies were dispatched, including Poplar Ridge, Scipio, LongHill Rescue, Southern Cayuga, Fourtown, and Aurora Ambulance. LifeNet landed at the scene and transported one patient to the hospital.
State Police also responded to assist. The motorcyclist’s condition and further details about the crash have not been released.
