One person remains hospitalized in intensive care following a boat crash on Cayuga Lake, but their condition has stabilized.
The collision happened Friday afternoon when a moving boat struck a stationary one about three miles south of Long Point State Park. Two people aboard the anchored boat were injured—one airlifted, the other taken by ambulance to Upstate University Hospital. The second victim has since been treated and released.
The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the crash. No charges have been filed at this time.
