A large fire at a sawmill in the Town of Ira prompted a multi-agency emergency response Wednesday evening, according to local officials.
The blaze, which included reports of explosions, was called in just before 5:30 p.m. on Ira Station Road. At least 10 fire departments responded to the scene.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause.
