A 32-year-old man from Fair Haven faces a misdemeanor assault charge following a late-night altercation at a village bar.
Craig G. Bazydlo was arrested by Cayuga County Sheriff’s deputies on July 22 after an investigation linked him to an assault at the Little Sodus Inn.
Deputies responded to a fight complaint at the bar around 1:54 a.m. on June 29. According to the Sheriff’s Office, a male suspect had struck a female victim in the head with his fist. Medical personnel later confirmed the victim sustained physical injuries from the blow.
The suspect was later identified as Bazydlo. He was processed at the Public Safety Building and released with an appearance ticket for Sterling Town Court on August 13 at 6 p.m.
