A Penn Yan resident was cited last week following multiple complaints about a barking dog, according to local police.
Haley M. Conley, 26, was issued a village ordinance violation on July 16 at 12:22 p.m. for allowing her dog to create a nuisance through excessive barking. The Penn Yan Police Department said the citation followed several reported disturbances.
Conley is scheduled to answer the charge in Penn Yan Village Court. The violation falls under local noise and nuisance regulations.
