Meet the Founder: Inna Sopronchuk
Inna is the heart and driving force behind Speak Ukrainian. With both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Linguistics, Inna began her journey as a one-on-one language tutor in 2016. She soon realized the enormous gap in accessible, high-quality Ukrainian education. Inna’s passion led her to launch an Instagram teaching blog in 2018 and by 2019, she expanded her reach to YouTube, where she now has over 60,000 subscribers learning through her engaging video tutorials.
In 2020, Speak Ukrainian School was born. Since then, Inna has built a thriving community of learners, supported by a passionate team of teachers. Her teaching methodology has even been implemented at Oxford University and The University of Texas at Austin, which speaks to its clarity, effectiveness, and learner-centeredness.
Today, we bring together students from all over the world, with different countries, ages, and walks of life, some have Ukrainian roots, some have Ukrainian loved ones, or just want to support Ukraine and feel its spirit.
