A key northbound section of Route 14 in Geneva will shut down Monday due to ongoing bridge repairs, according to RochesterFirst.
Drivers heading north between South Cloverleaf Drive and Lake Street must follow detour routes using Routes 5 and 20 East, while westbound drivers should follow signs to Sessler Drive and Border City Road. Southbound lanes remain open for now but will flip to the northbound side starting August 7.
The project is expected to finish by late August. Officials warn of delays and remind drivers that speeding fines are doubled in work zones.
