Congressman Nick Langworthy is joining House Republicans in demanding the full release of all credible documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, calling for transparency and justice in a blistering rebuke of Democratic leadership.
Langworthy issued a statement after the House Rules Committee advanced H.Res. 589, voicing support for the resolution and condemning Democratic efforts as politically motivated and ineffective.
“I stand with my Republican colleagues in demanding the full release of all credible Epstein documents—while ensuring the privacy and dignity of the victims are protected,” Langworthy said. “Every individual who committed crimes—especially against minors—must face the full weight of the law.”
He accused Democrats of “four years of silence, inaction, and cover-ups under the Biden Administration” and rejected an opposing amendment proposed this week. “They tried to pass a phony amendment that wouldn’t have released a single document,” Langworthy stated. “I voted no because it was nothing more than a political stunt—not a path to justice.”
Langworthy criticized Democrats for not taking action during their time in power. “If Democrats actually cared about transparency, they had four years to act. They chose to do nothing,” he said. “Tonight, they had a chance to join Republicans in finally delivering answers. Once again, they chose obstruction and silence.”
He pledged continued efforts to pursue full disclosure of the Epstein case files. “House Republicans are taking real, concrete steps to expose the truth, deliver justice for the victims, and ensure that every perpetrator is held accountable,” Langworthy said. “We will not back down. We will not be deterred. The American people deserve the truth—and we’re going to get it.”
