Wayne County’s annual Brantling Bluegrass Festival is back next week, promising four days of music, camping, and community, starting Wednesday, July 23.
Now in its 16th year, the festival kicks off with a free concert at 6 p.m. featuring Reliant and Mark Miklos. The full event schedule runs Thursday through Sunday, July 24–27, and includes performances from national, regional, and local bluegrass bands.
Organizers describe the event as a celebration of “great music and family fun,” held in a scenic setting with stage shows, jam sessions, and a welcoming atmosphere. Individual day tickets start at $30, and full weekend passes are available for $85 per person. Children 12 and under get in free, while teens 13–17 can attend for $40.
Dry camping is included with weekend tickets at no extra cost. Attendees looking for hotel accommodations can take advantage of a $10 discount at the new Microtel in Newark, available exclusively to Brantling guests.
