The Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn has finished a $2.7 million renovation and is now under the management of Syracuse-based Pioneer Companies, according to The Citizen.
The hotel’s 92 rooms, lobby, and ballrooms received a full makeover, replacing darker designs with brighter, modern touches. Pioneer COO Eric Ridley, who once served as the hotel’s first general manager, called the project a “full circle” moment and emphasized the benefit of local oversight.
Auburn resident Robert Richie is the new general manager. Pioneer also plans future updates to the on-site restaurant, The Refinery.
