Finger Lakes Community College has recognized 827 students for academic excellence by naming them to the spring 2025 dean’s list. The announcement was made Monday by the college’s public relations office in Canandaigua.
To qualify for the honor, students had to complete at least five credits during the semester with a minimum grade point average of 3.5, while avoiding withdrawals or incompletes in any class.
Students earning the distinction came from dozens of counties across New York, as well as several out-of-state and international locations. Local representation included strong showings from Monroe, Ontario, and Wayne counties, with students listed by town in each region.
In addition to traditional students, FLCC will later release a separate dean’s list recognizing Gemini students—high schoolers who take FLCC courses at their home districts.
