Seneca Falls is set to host Convention Days 2025 from July 18–20, celebrating the legacy of the 1848 women’s rights convention and the Erie Canal’s 200th anniversary. The event, themed “Ripples of Reform,” will include panels, walking tours, exhibits, and reenactments.
Highlights include programs on women’s suffrage, Erie Canal history, and Haudenosaunee displacement, along with Victorian games, living history, and a feminist marketplace. Special exhibits at the Visitors Center will showcase Stanton’s songbook and canal heritage.
The festivities begin July 18 with a community award and band concert, continuing with parades, discussions, concerts, and a dance party through the weekend.
