Wednesday’s game between the New York Mets and Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards, originally scheduled for 7:05 p.m., has been postponed due to inclement weather.
The game will be made up as part of a split doubleheader on Thursday. Game 1 will be played at 12:05 p.m., while Game 2 is slated for 5:05 p.m.
After the postponement, manager Carlos Mendoza told reporters that left-hander David Peterson, who was set to start Wednesday, will take the mound in the first game of the doubleheader. The starter for the second game has not been announced, though it’s expected to be a bullpen game, which was the plan even before the schedule change.
The Mets (53-39) erased a four-run deficit and beat the Orioles (40-50), 7-6, in 10 innings in the series opener on Tuesday night.
