Farmington woman charged with violating protection order

A Farmington woman was arrested Tuesday for allegedly violating a court-issued stay-away order, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies arrested Dana Marie Fegley, 24, at 5:15 p.m. on July 1 after she turned herself in at the Ontario County Jail in Hopewell.

Authorities said Fegley violated a full stay-away order of protection by remaining on the premises of the protected party’s workplace on June 26.

She was charged with criminal contempt in the second degree, arraigned at the jail, and released. Fegley is scheduled to appear in Victor Town Court at a later date.
