A Sterling man was taken into custody Tuesday night in connection with a burglary and theft investigation in Seneca Falls.
Robert Stagles, 39, was arrested by the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department at around 8:40 p.m. on June 24. Authorities say he was wanted on an arrest warrant for petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor, and burglary in the third degree, a class D felony.
Police processed Stagles at the Seneca Falls Police Department before transporting him to the Seneca County Correctional Facility. He is being held there as he awaits arraignment.
