The Skaneateles Library is inviting book lovers and community supporters to turn the page together at its Annual Summer Book Sale, taking place Thursday, July 10 through Sunday, July 13.
This year’s sale will be held at 75 Fennell Street, the future site of the new library. The four-day event promises a broad selection of books, puzzles, DVDs, board games, and music CDs at bargain prices, culminating with a $10 Bag Sale on Sunday.
“Hosting it at the location of our future library makes it especially meaningful,” said Library Director Nickie Marquis. “We’re deeply grateful for the generous donations and the commitment of our volunteers, whose hard work behind the scenes makes this beloved tradition possible.”
The event opens Thursday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. and continues Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday’s Bag Sale runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering shoppers the chance to fill a provided bag with books for one flat price.
In addition to books, Friday’s shoppers can enjoy a special treat—Gannon’s Ice Cream will be on-site from 4 to 6 p.m.
