Home listings in Steuben County saw a 4.6% price increase in May, reaching a median of $229,900, according to Realtor.com data analyzed by the USA TODAY Network.
Despite the monthly bump, prices are still down 7% from May 2024. Homes averaged 66 days on the market, slightly faster than April’s 71-day pace. New listings also rose 10% year-over-year, with 88 homes hitting the market.
Compared to state and national figures, Steuben homes remain more affordable, with a median $121 per square foot versus $435 statewide and $234 nationally.
