A Canandaigua man was arrested early Friday morning after allegedly shoplifting from the Walmart in the Town of Hopewell, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say Michael V. Lesak, 23, of Camelot Square, concealed merchandise and passed all points of sale without paying around 12:07 a.m. on June 13.
Lesak was taken into custody at 3:50 a.m. and later released on an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in Hopewell Town Court at a later date to answer the petit larceny charge.
The incident remains under investigation by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
