A Lyons woman faces multiple charges after she allegedly trespassed on school property and bit a deputy during her arrest, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies arrested Terri N. Lagrand, 45, of Geneva Street on June 10 following an investigation into a reported trespass. Authorities said Lagrand had previously been served a notice banning her from all Lyons School properties. She was arrested after returning to one of those properties in violation of the notice.

During the arrest, deputies allege that Lagrand resisted and bit a deputy, causing injury. She was charged with criminal trespass in the third degree, resisting arrest, and assault in the second degree on a police officer.

Lagrand was released to CAP Court and is scheduled for arraignment at 7:00 a.m. on June 11.
