Northeast College of Health Sciences has appointed Dr. Eugene Spilker as its new assistant vice president for chiropractic, the college announced Tuesday.
Spilker will officially begin the role on July 7, overseeing the Doctor of Chiropractic program and leading strategic efforts in curriculum, accreditation, and academic quality.
“Aligned with our shared dedication to innovative teaching and lifelong learning, Dr. Spilker is a great addition to our expert College community,” said Dr. Anne Killen, provost and vice president for academic affairs. “We are thrilled to welcome him and work together to support our chiropractic students as we continue in our tradition of excellence.”
Spilker brings more than 20 years of experience as a chiropractor, educator, and administrator. He previously served as the founding dean of chiropractic at Universidad Central del Caribe in Puerto Rico, where he helped secure program accreditation and expanded interdisciplinary collaboration.
He earned a Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan University in 2000 and later a Doctorate in Health Professions Education in 2020. His career includes teaching roles, clinical leadership, and service on accreditation, admissions, and assessment committees.
At Northeast, Spilker will lead faculty and administrative teams while promoting professional development and program growth.
